Terms of Service

1. The Service

TokenRoute provides a unified, OpenAI-compatible API that routes your requests to third-party large language models offered by providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen, and xAI. Access is billed on a pay-as-you-go basis using prepaid credits. We are a reseller and aggregator; the underlying models are operated by their respective providers and are subject to their own terms and usage policies.

2. Accounts & eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract.
• You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your password and API keys confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

3. Prepaid credits & billing

• The Service is prepaid: you add credits to your balance and they are consumed as you make API requests. Charges are metered per request based on the tokens processed and the model used, at the price shown for that model.
• There is no subscription or seat fee — you pay only for the usage you consume. Your current balance and usage are shown in your dashboard.
• Credits are for use of the Service only and are not transferable between accounts.

4. Payments & top-ups

Credits are purchased with cryptocurrency, processed either through third-party payment providers or through on-chain transfers to an address we display. Credits are added to your balance once the payment is confirmed. You are responsible for sending the correct amount on the correct network; funds sent incorrectly (wrong network, wrong amount, or wrong address) may be unrecoverable. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or the usage policies of the underlying model providers;
• generate or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, harmful, or that depicts the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, disrupt it, reverse-engineer it, circumvent billing or rate limits, or resell access in violation of these Terms;
• transmit malware, conduct fraud, or infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section or that create legal or security risk.

6. Third-party models

Model outputs are generated by third-party providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of any model, and a given model may change or become unavailable at any time. Your use of a model may also be subject to that provider's terms.

7. Intellectual property

The TokenRoutename, site, and software are owned by us or our licensors. As between you and us, you retain rights to the inputs you submit; rights in model outputs are subject to the applicable provider's terms. You are responsible for your inputs and for your use of any outputs.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive and must not be relied upon as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TokenRoute will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Suspension & termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or to comply with law. On termination, the treatment of any remaining balance is governed by our Refund Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the operator of TokenRoute is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The competent courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have.
